Dr. Azadeh Jafari is currently assistant professor at the University of Tehran since January 2016. She obtained first class honours in her undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Yazd University in 2003 and subsequently gained her Master from the University of Tehran in 2006 and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the École Ppolytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in 2011.

Dr. Azadeh Jafari

Azadeh Jafari was appointed as a postdoctoral researcher with prospective research fellowship at the Cardiff University in 2011-2012 and then with advanced researcher fellowship, at the Centre de Recherches Mathématiques which is based in the Université de Montréal (UdeM) in 2013-2015 prior to taking up her current academic position. She has held visiting research positions at the Imperial College London, and the Université de Montréal. Her research interests include computational fluid dynamics, specifically with high-order numerical methods, computational rheology and haemorheology, modelling of Viscoelastic and microvascular blood flow.
